Many years ago (showing my age now) I used to write games for the Commodore 64 home computer.  As well as designing all of my own graphics, I also had to write my own music.  I recall spending hours learning everything there was to learn about MOS Technology's 6581 Sound Interface Device (SID).  I was over the moon to discover that there is still today, a thriving community of dedicated and loyal 6581 SID fans out there. 

With remixers everywhere, and plugin's for most modern music packages, to faithfully recreate the original SID sound.  I thought that the time was now right for us to celebrate the mighty SID chip with a cap.  Oh mighty SID we salute you! - and before you ask, yes we do sell a matching 8580 baseball cap.
